Moments with Meryl
I had become totally fed up and frustrated when on occasions I had been unable to see clearly what was going on when people talked about their lives and were looking for some input. "What is happening here?" I had been saying that Jesus Christ always sees clearly what is taking place and therefore I did too but this certainly wasn’t being my experience.
"Well, Meryl, if your believing is not becoming reality the fault is with you! OK, so now let’s think about this. It must be that you are not accepting the responsibility and are choosing not to see clearly. But why would I do that? Maybe you don’t want to risk being disliked or not getting it right or you just don’t want the responsibility of listening and being for someone else."
Immediately I could see that was true–all of it. "Well, are you going to stay like that? Not likely!! OK, so be different. Let Christ be responsible as you; listen to people and trust your thoughts are His thoughts and speak accordingly. Trust yourself (that you really are Christ/Meryl).
Having ‘seen’ this during our Easter conference, I had plenty of opportunities to live from the truth of what I had seen. My joy was in accepting the responsibility as mine (really Christ/I) and seeing how Christ/Meryl saw more clearly, not only during the conference, but also since then when speaking with others.
