Editor’s Note
It was a joy and a privilege to work on this month’s Intercessor! As Dacia, Sheryl, and Betty Trethewey’s articles came in, we began to realize that the story of God’s restoration eclipsed anything else we might have included–it became the heart of this issue! Because the personal nature of these testimonies might encourage people in similar circumstances, we will be glad to send out extra copies at your request.
The tape and book reviews seemed to echo the same theme: Christ’s resurrection life through us for others. In keeping with Easter, we included Norman Grubb’s The Total Remedy which explains the two-fold work of the Cross–the body and blood of Christ.
Once again, readers have shared with us through The Mailbox their personal experiences and insights. We especially appreciated hearing from those who enjoyed our Christmas mailing. We hope to do this type of thing again.
Now, turn to the back cover IMMEDIATELY! The first of five Norman Grubb books to he republished, Who Am I? is hot off the press! Originally published in 1974, this concise, readable book is a distillation of many of his earlier works. The book combines Norman’s crisp, sharp perceptions, his deep insights into the Scriptures, and his warm personal understanding of the struggle of the believer.
Have you noticed the quotations of C.T. Studd and Rees Howells in every issue? The voices of these faith warriors, two of the greatest influences on Norman Grubb’s life, challenge us to live lives of sacrifice, obedience, and faith and speak to us today.
Once again, it has been exciting to see what God has brought to light through this issue. We believe He will continue to reveal truth of who you are: "Christ in you, the hope of glory."
