Editor’s Note
The year 1996 will be remembered as a year of growth for Zerubbabel. God has blessed us with major expansions in the book ministry and our physical facilities.
After a lengthy search, we learned that Lutterworth Press in Cambridge, England, had the original copyrights to Norman’s books. Our contact with Lutterworth Press both by correspondence and with several personal visits there has fruited in Lutterworth’s making available to Zerubbabel the rights to re-publish Norman’s books. We are, needless to say, thrilled to have the privilege of making these works–that have been life to many of us–avail-able to others. The first three titles that we plan to publish are Who Am I, Law of Faith, and Once Caught, No Escape. We expect to see these in print by the end of this year. Other books will be published eight to ten months after these first ones are finished.
The computer facilities in The Intercessor office are already being upgraded to enable us to transfer the manuscripts to a computer disk. This will facilitate the reprinting of the books and make the process less expensive. Funds are already available to publish Who Am I and The Law of Faith. We know that God will provide for the other books at the right time.
This is joyous news to those whose well-read books are held together by rubber bands. More importantly, those who never knew Norman will still be able to experience the message of "Christ in you, the hope of glory" through his writings.
As our ministry has grown, we have felt the need for additional facilities. Property adjacent to the motel was recently put on the market for sale. The land is covered with lovely old trees and rhododendron and is beautifully landscaped. A large, older home and a small, A-frame chalet are included. The house and location seem to fit our needs perfectly.
We have signed a purchase agreement for the property and have begun the usual inspections and title work. We hope to have access to the house by the end of July. Cleaning up the house may well be this summer’s camp project. Funding for this acquisition will come from the sale of the Zerubbabel property on Wildcat Road and from generous donations.
God, in His infinite wisdom, has again made provision for our needs in ways that we never could have imagined. We know that the results of these blessings will be even greater, manifested by the changed lives of people living as "Christ in you." We are grateful.
