What is the universe? How does it function? Where do we fit in? Norman Grubb tackles these momentous questions and many more. Beginning in Genesis he describes Adam and Eve’s deception by Satan in the Garden of Eden. Since then all mankind has mistakenly believed they are self-operating selves. We have to learn that we are only vessels expressing either Christ or Satan. Norman describes three levels in our Christian life. First, babyhood in Christ–we are forgiven and rely on the father; second, a coming to know that Jesus Christ lives in us as us; finally, the third level is when we labour for others to know the truth.
Norman brings us to intercession. Using a personal example of his time in the army, where his passion for witnessing to fellow soldiers cost him promotions, we see how intercession involves commission, cost and completion; a challenge to us all.
